Narasu’s Sarathy Institute of Technology, Salem celebrated its 14th Annual Day in the august presence of the Chairman Er. B. Nitish Harihar, Pro Chairman Mrs. Aishwarya Nitish, Vice Chairman & Secretary Mr. G. Prabakaran and Principal Dr. Munusami Viswanathan.
Dr. N. Priya, Assistant Adviser, NAAC, Bangalore and Mr. Joshua David MD, India Campus Lead, Mphasis, Chennai graced the occasion as Guests of Honour. The Principal welcomed the gathering and presented the Annual Report. He spoke about the various achievements of students and faculty in academics like book publication, research papers published, International and National Conferences attended etc.
The Chairman in his keynote address congratulated the team for the exemplary effort taken after pandemic situation to impart quality education to the students. He said that the Placement record of the current year was a testimony of the quality of education the students had received. He congratulated all the students, faculty, Heads of various Departments and the Placement Training Team for their untiring contribution to the wellbeing of the students.
Pro Chairman Mrs. Aishwarya Nitish congratulated the students and spoke about the importance to follow their dreams with their parents’ consent. Vice Chairman & Secretary Mr. G. Prabakaran in his address spoke about the importance of academic achievements in professional growth. He advised the students to use their creative skills for innovative solutions to problems in the society.
Dr. N. Priya in her speech spoke about the importance of embracing our culture and tradition and make use of indigenous technology to support the fast-changing technological environment. She advised the students to remember their roots while growing into successful professionals.
Mr. Joshua David congratulated all the academic toppers and gave an overview of the expectations of the corporate world and ways and means to succeed in the industry. He spoke about the importance of learning to communicate their thoughts in a precise manner to reduce delay in work progression.
Later the Guests of Honour distributed the awards and certificates to the class toppers and faculty for their various achievements. Dr. M. Poonguzhali, Head Department of ECE delivered the vote of thanks
